Dog Dive Creative, Inc. is me, a freelance graphic designer from Austin, Texas specializing in art direction, design and illustration. I work with companies large and small to produce communications that actually make a difference. When I was four years old, my aunt asked me, “Danny, what do you want to be when you grow up?” After carefully running over the options in my head, I replied, “I either want to be an artist…or Superman.”
Today, I strive to be a bit of both for my clients. When you’re under the gun for that great new idea that will really push your business where you need it to go, think of me (Superman). When you’re looking for the hands-on concepting, creation and implementation of your big new idea, I’m there with my Mac (Superman Artist). If it’s a one-off design project or complete re-imagination of your public perception, I have the ability to make you shine in the marketplace. My network of highly experienced industry professionals are capable of pulling off the most daunting of feats.

I founded Dog Dive Creative, Inc. after serving as the Director of Creative Services at Madhaus, a Chicagoland design studio where I worked on a multitude of award winning projects and campaigns. I studied Graphic Design and Art History at Indiana University in Bloomington (Hello, PBR). On any given day, you might find me lovingly and laboriously pushing pixels, playing music, or going to rock and roll shows.
The name "Dog Dive" is a reference to the running style of my strange and loving pooch (pictured left). Her name is JPEG. She is a West Highland Terrier with a slight attitude problem, and this is a big part of her charm. Her favorite band is Weezer and she loves the writing of Douglas Adams.
